saw sinbad in st louis back in '96, dude ripped that stage apart.  2nd best was yakov smirnoff - he's a russian dude who came over here a while ago, his delivery was incredible and his jokes are always one level above your head.  i consider him more of a thinking man's comedian.

Sinbad at Bramlage!?

Mitch Hedberg was the all-time best imo.

CNS, who was the Taco Bell guy?

Does anybody remember that Daniel Tosh came to K-State in about 2006 and played to a 1/3rds full Forum Hall on a Friday night with insanely terrible weather?

Don't remember, honestly.  The second time I saw him, he got half way through hid stuff and hadn't gotten a laugh.  Then half way through the next joke, he stopped and sighed and said "aw, eff it" and just sat there for a while quiet before finishing his big taco bell joke with zero heart.  Wad sadly hilarious.

You know how you pay to see a comic and show up and there are always like 2 or 3 shitty comics on before them that you never took the time to know who they are and go into it just assuming that you will be bored with mediocrity until the actual headliner gets there?  That was him three times.

Update: I just googled "stand up comedian yo quero taco bell [redacted]" and all I got were articles about new Doritos Locos Tacos

When he came out of the piano? Oh man, young SK was blown away. Also, at his wife signing autographs before the show.

Dlew, you've made me sad. And that's the opposite of the way I should feel in a thread about stand-up comedy.

Loved Yakov's Cleveland stuff. Most people didn't get it tho.
