LOL, on Sunday night football when the introduce the defense, Aquib Talib said he was from North Dallas Texas instead of saying his Alma Mater like everyone else. That's when you know
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

Ha, came here to post this. Should have known it would be Luke to out-scoop me.

I must say, the Talib snub cut my squawk wife to the core.

They probably talk about how they are glad he doesn't claim them and call him a thug, etc.

KU was more competitive against OU than K-State was yesterday.  We actually had a 10-point lead against OU for part of the first half in Lawrence.  K-State just got their asses kicked up and down the field.  The loss to Iowa State was embarrassing yesterday, no doubt, but the conditions were terrible, and our freshman QB had a bad day.  It happens.  No one here has ever claimed KU was a football powerhouse.  K-State fans, on the other hand, pretend like their program is something it's not.  That's why we make fun of them.

Really, so the conditions were so bad in Ames, that ISU could score in the 30's and ku couldn't score a single point against the 117th rated defense in the country?

Fascinating

I think we need to make a run at Stoops.  He is on borrowed time at OU and you can bet he will "retire" in the near future.  Also, coaching at KU means not having to sell El Rancho Del Bob off the interstate.  Little Game Bob would be better than anything we could hope for now.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

Nothing better than watching the Taters lose a game the blowhard fans thought they'd win.

Yikes.

At one time that had to do with milking a cow, but now Im pretty sure they think something else is in there hand,, kinda coincides with that head bobbing thing they do suckit.gif

Old Balls thought they won! Sad really ...

I don't think this is accurate.  He didn't provide a link fwiw.

Right on cue, 'tater nation is celebrating another KU loss because that's what all the fans of big time programs do.

In the thread where they were celebrating a KSU loss before they lost.

In college sports things get ugly fast. I would think KSU fans have to be worried about the future.

Watch out...FOR THE FUTURE! :ohno:

Looks like 'tater fishing season came early this year.  Seriously, though, congrats to K-State fans on the best 6-5 team of all-time.  It must feel good.

BenedictArnoldHawk on the warpath again.

6-5 this year, but at least KSU has a great football history.

0 National Titles, 0 Heismann trophy winners, 0 BCS Bowl wins...

Wait, what? Do their fans really act like they have a great football program? Thankfully I don't live in Kansas and don't have to interact with any of their fans. As we all know, 99% of the population outside of Kansas isn't even aware that there is a Kansas "State" University.

Not sure where he's getting his numbers, but he seems pretty confident.

To be fair, they did win the 2013 SS EMAW Harley Track Stadium Renovation championship.  Let's not sell them short.

Smock enjoyed it.  Buh-zing.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

I didn't realize they were on the verge of hiring Bob Stoops.
