ISU is ranked 117th in scoring defense before this game. Let that sink in.

To be fair, ISU has a stable of one-star players that make it difficult to compete with.

Why do you say that?  I think a higher percentage of farmers in this state support KSU and it's not even close since we are a land grant university and have a college of agriculture.  I am a farmer and very proud of it in fact.

no way man. . .KU is a complete hillbilly school. They have two tractor dealerships in the middle of town for fucks sake!

It's one thing to lose 34-0 to OU or Baylor. 34-0 to a 1-9 team is not acceptable. Unfortunately, we need to make another change, whether it's getting rid of Ianello and hiring an actual receivers coach and offensive coordinator, or getting rid of Weis and replacing him with Dave Campo. This can't happen without their being consequences.

Yeah, but I don't equate the term "farmer" as meaning "hillbilly" and you shouldn't either.  I could agree that KU probably has a larger hillbilly (uneducated and unsophisticated rubes) following.  I thought the original quote was funny and that's why I reposted it here.  Besides, our school mascot was "farmers" for a short time between "aggies" and "wildcats".

True, however, they are going to copy OU.  Like, Weiss said against WVU they just looked at what some other team did to WVU and copied it.  Now, sure, they aren't as good, but I think the most important thing to do against our defense is just keep running.  Commit to it (this is the part that I'm not sure if Weiss will do).  Which is what OU did, NDSt did, UT did, even OSU.  We simply can't stop it.  It was simple read option and we acted like we had never seen it before in our entire lives.

I'm not a Weis hater.  However, this is as disappointed and let-down that I can ever recall as a KU football fan.  This game ripped my heart out.

There aren't words to describe how humiliating that loss was.  Worst I can remember since I've been following this (mostly) hullabaloo program.

I just don't get what happened to this football program. All that progress we made under Mangino has completely vanished and is nothing more than a distant memory. How did we return to being so awful so quickly, and why are we completely incapable of climbing out of the cellar? Embarrassment does not even begin to describe it.

I am not getting down on Weis anymore.  I also believe we could beat KState.

   

I love KU Football therefore I am despondent and enraged at our self-inflicted annhilation.

Think about it, the best football hire we've had recently was made by a guy Roy Williams ran out of town. We currently have a K-State guy as our AD.

I have tickets. Not sure if I'll go.  Yeah, that's p8ssy stuff on my part but I think I'm done for the year.  If the team isn't going to show up then why should I?  At least when everyone else kicks our ass they feel bad for us but the sheephumpers will be intolerable.
