just because coach liepold has never finished better than 7th in the league and won’t this year either doesn’t mean he hasn’t been trying.  he’s the 3rd highest paid coach in the league, and has earned every cent of his $6 million dollar contract. sure, he’s a paltry 9-21 in conference play at ku, but have you seen his record at wisconsin-whitewater?  that’s right, 53-3.

this team still has a lot to play for and to prove.  let’s put the last 5 losses in a row behind us and get ready to play houston!

I am optimistic. Not only is ‘Clams right, but the announcers last night announced multiple times that “Jalon is Back!”.  Dont believe it?  Well guess what, last night he ended a 2 yr dry spell between games where he ran in a TD and passed for a TD in the same game, so I agree that he is definitely back! 

This dark horse is going to ride home to Raytown and is going to play their hearts out in their home Arrowhead in front of Lance Kingdom.  Give Lance an off week and he definitely won’t be looking past Houston and at the WildWildCats, but will definitely be focused squarely on all 3 quarters he has against Houston.
