Perhaps they know what their options are on where they can play next year, but they are choosing not to say until later because of the options being bad?  Might be harder to recruit if you don’t play any home games, or something?

Phog grumblings that they have worked out a deal with the royals

Bold of you to assume the royals won’t be needing that field in oc- oh wait

Heard today they have a deal with Arrowhead Stadium.

a deal to never play any games there?

Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

So, all that's left is the east side now. Any idea where they're going to play next year, or if they've finally secured all the funding they need?

maybe they line the west/north sidelines with temp bleachers, and the hayseeds just back their f150's up to the sideline and watch the games like they do at other high school stadiums in the area?

No way Lance turns down the obvious offer coming from Alabama. We all knew this day would come.

More likely scenario: Lanning to Bama; Lightpole to Oregon.

Well seeing how the east side is very well intact it makes me thing they are going to try and keep it there, and maybe do something temp or partially done on the west side.

Why didn't they just build a new stadium?

Why didn't they just build a new stadium?
And lose the setting? Are you insane? The old one is already built in the best spot in college football.

Why didn't they just build a new stadium?

It's apparently important to the people with money.

Honestly they should install a panoramic array of mirrors so that no matter which way you’re facing you always see The Hill in the majestic backdrop of The Setting

Unpopular opinion: The view from the football complex looking north is better than the view from the stadium looking south.

Hope the hill and hill lovers aren't too offended.

Oregon could do better elevating an coordinator, and I don't know who their coordinators are

Were the taxpayers who are picking up a substantial portion of the tab on that thing consulted.

It's really funny to me that KU demolished their stadium before they knew where they were gonna play home football games in 2024.

I, for one, love the fact that we're taking money from KSU pockets (in part) to pay for this.

Tale as old as time: poor, penniless KU comes knocking on the door of Daddy Warbucks for a handout.  :kstategrad:
