A lot of game day parking is on-street parking in front of the slums surrounding Memorial Porta-Potti Stadium. If we look ahead, it's apparent expansion will strip away a lot of existing parking lots. So will KU ignore the parking issue, or are we looking at the city of Lawrence condemning a lot of slums to make way for parking lots?

I remember when KSU played Texas in 2006 and I had to work for part of the game so I tried to sell my ticket for like $20 but no one even wanted it. Since I finished work right before the second half I ran over into the stadium and was able watch the second half and take part in my first and only field rushing.

I guess what I’m trying to say to my Hawks brethren is if you believe you can achieve.

I went to the top of the stairs on the west side and at that time you had to walk on the concourse over to the locker room from the booth (not sure how they do it now) and so I happened to see the Texas coaches and I shouted “Hey Chizik how does our ass taste?”

He heard it. Not very creative, but was fun for me personally.

Chizik was a UT coach in 2006?! Man I only knew of his existence once he was ISU HC.
