Fun Fact:

Did you know that a KU fan would have to be at least 63 years old in order to have seen their team win more games than it's lost against KSU?

An ISU fan would have to be 81 years old.

are you defining "seen" as "was alive" or like, old enough to be able to form long term memories (so maybe like 4 or 5 years old?)

sounds like a bunch of butthurt taters are trying to justify getting owned in the all-time series.   WINS IN THE EARLY 1900'S MATTER TOO!

Looks like those Jayhawks are grading this season out in the B to C range. Their waters are calm AF.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I just went through that thread as well. Imagine having a program in such terrible shape, that going 3-9 and giving up 60 points on senior day to close out the season earns you a C+ to a B- grade!  :horrorsurprise:

Yeah, my great grandpa used to revel us youngsters about the mighty Jayhawks who K-State could only beat ONCE in the period 1902 - 1917.  It sure is relevant today.

After Ohio State

Earle Bruc3 was the leading candidate to replace Bob Valesente as head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks after the 1987 season, but due to a contract dispute, KU did not hire him. KU instead hired Glen Mason

Refreshing my memory on Earle Bruc3 and stumbled on this.

Imagine ending a 3-9 season with a 61-6 loss, where you were out gained nearly 2 to 1, had 6 turnovers and the stadium was empty . . . and still having people running around saying things are on the right track.

I mean, that's some tough TSC sledding there.

My fav... They returned a lot from what Beety was building, about 2 out of 3 starters were seniors this year. With that experienced talent returning, and with what was supposed to be such a massive increase in coaching ability, they should've seen significant improvement... Well, maybe les is more

Plus relying on like your 4th coach in 12 years, who also appears to show early signs of dementia.  I can't even to begin to describe how badly I feel for Les Miles if that is true..

Hawks grading their season. Not many miles to go for straight A's!

Quote
B- considering what we lost from last year.
Quote
A- or B+. People seem to forget Mangino in year 1 got shellacked regularly and went 2-10.
Quote
I would grade the season a B+. Losing the original OC and still ending up with Dearmon before the season was over was a huge plus
Quote
B- to a B+. I think it can only be an A this year if there was some miraculous use of our talent that got us a bowl game, and/or they pulled in a top 10 class.

Quote
Solid B effort this year.
Quote
B- is where I would grade.
Quote
B-. I don’t think many can comprehend how outgunned this team is
Quote
Right now- B. If we hold onto our top assistants, replace Blowen with a stud recruiter and pull in a top 40 class- A-

Is there a formula that tells me how much a moral victory is worth? Like, how many moral victories do I have to have to raise a grade C to a B? I would assume that this would also vary depending upon the competition.

It is difficult to quantify, indeed.....

Only the KU football fan can measure the value of a moral victory. They have a mountain of experience in this matter. The KU fan uses a unique combination of delusions of grandeur, cherry-pick stats, inflated egos and self-entitlement to determine the net worth of a loss. It is a lost art.......the KU fan must be studied with a team of people and a great deal of caution.....kind of like observing animals at the zoo.....you don't want to get to close.
