I think Miles to Go is the primary source of that rumor. He seems very off.

Anyone have a phog sub? They continue to use false numbers to take away from how good Beatty was and what he was building there.

Per Sagarin, last year was their best team since 2009 (even better than this years team that returned all DB's guys!), but they have a lower number (62.2 instead of 64.31) on this chart to make it look like he wasn't good.

I just hate it for all the hard work DB put in. PAY HIM!

His first interview when hired was the primary source.  Or was it Big 12 media day before the season started?  Either way, it was pretty clear he had trouble collecting his thoughts on very simple subject matters.  He LOVED talking about the past (i.e. championship ring and his acting career) which was another huge sign that this guy couldn't properly communicate in the present.

I work a LOT of elder abuse cases, and mental capacity is a big deal in those.  People with dementia tend to have great recall of older memories because dementia doesn't really affect those much.  Dementia take its toll in short term memory.  Les has the classic attributes of vascular dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

It needs to be noted, however, that KU has never had much of a problem recruiting skill people. How many programs the past 60 years have had three first-team All-American quarterbacks and two running backs as good as Sayers and Riggins,

lol

It is, but keep in mind that they had not one, but TWO badass running backs over that time span.

I wonder if you'll find many P5 schools with a shorter list...(KU has 4)

I don't like looking up our program history beyond 27 years or so, though.

We are one season into this, and none of us REALLY believed we would win 6 games, which BTW we lost by 1 score in 4 of them, which makes us a 7 win team IF we pull those out.

They were basically a 7 win team this year.

Fun Fact:

Did you know that a KU fan would have to be at least 63 years old in order to have seen their team win more games than it's lost against KSU?

An ISU fan would have to be 81 years old.
