This is the day that Les Miles became president.

has the state of kansas ever had two court stormings on the same day?  we're the kings of the united states today, fellow kansans.

Just think of how legendary that play will be if KU loses out. The pitch that saved 100 in 10.

Before the moment passes I want to congratulate KU on losing 100 games in less than 10 years.  Streak began on 10/17/09 and completed on 9/28/19.  I mean technically you could say they lost 101 games in 10 years because there was another loss on 10/5/19, but that would be applying the last 7 games from 2009 and the first 6 games from 2019 which comes to 13.  So we can be nice and just call it 100 losses in the equivalent of 10 complete seasons (120 games played).  As of today the numbers are still the same.  We drop off the loss from 10/17/09 and add a loss from 10/19/19.

Wow... that's just impressive. However, do they have to lose on out to be 100 losses in 10 consecutive seasons or are they allowed to win a game?
They have to lose out at this point. Let's hope for the best. Not a good look for our once-proud footballing state.

So close    :frown:

So this is an actual turning point for the beak 'ems, I think. Like most of you, I have watched a LOT of awful KU football in the last decade and I have seen them lose games in the most LOL way imaginable. If this was a Gurner Till team, or Charlie Weis or whatever, KU is missing that kick twice in a row. In fact it'd get blocked a second time and returned for a touchdown. I guess what I'm saying is we're probably gonna lose the Dillons next week. :frown:

I wouldn't count next week as a win just yet

As weird as it is to say, it will be a quality road win if we leave Lawrence with the W.

I am going to drive over to Council Bluffs (Council Tucky lmao) and place a sizeable wager on my hawks if that is true

I think you have to just feel a little amused even if you’re a tech fan. Obviously you’re not going to be super encouraged by the season so far + looking that bad toward the end of the game so  at least you have a historically comical blunder to remember it by.

Tech not going for it on 4th and 1 on their last drive was their downfall. Don't know why Tech staff thought they weren't going to give up a score.

Not if Tech scored. And KU's kicker would make any OT an adventure.

I'm amazed at the curve some of you grade KU on. Obviously it's out of fear, that makes these dudes like they're on par with the teams in the middle of the conference. Can we get them back to Terry Allen level before we start blowing them?

Can't you read the thread title? KU football is GOOD. They almost beat Texas and hung with OU for several minutes. They're basically ready to march into the Cotton Bowl with their national championship winning coach. It's going to be a complete dogfight in the suburb of KC known as Lawrence. I'm just hoping we can keep it within a touchdown.
