What's their road losing streak at?  That's a fun one to watch.  What's the all time road losing streak?  They must be close.

And the all time streak for all divisions is Western State in Gunnison, Colo., which now plays out of the Div. II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, lost 44 road contests in a row from Oct. 2, 1926 through Nov. 7, 1936.

after ohio it's @ Iowa State, then @TCU, and the record breaker would be @ Texas.     Not a bad schedule to try and break the streak against.  They needed Baylor to be away this year.

that said, the problems at ku extend far beyond their coaching hires
-their roster/scholarship situ is mumped (which is obvs tied to coaching but separate)
-their stadium is easily at the bottom of any p5 school
-the anderson complex is a joke (but this video is great)

-their fanbase is decimated and doesn't support the team
-the university administration doesn't support the team

there are so many thing wrong and they're so intertwined that i don't ever see them being able to fix their problems

the majority of their fanbase would kill to get back a coach who went 1-7 in conference his final season before being accused of abusing players and being fired

also, eff ku and i'm happy to see them wallow in pigshit

KU could not afford to pay a real coach's salary after already having another 3 coaches still on the payroll and Beatty was the easiest to defend candidate who lacked enough self respect to take the job. So the record is 44? Definitely something worthy of pursuit. Gives the Hawks something to aspire to.

To be clear that's the all division record, they already have the FBS record, they raced waaaaayyyyyy past that. I believe the previous FBS/1A record was 33.
