what have they done to deserve it?  #EarnIt
What did KSU do to deserve Bill?

I think Bill has made it quite clear that he came to KSU because he realized all the people at the university were super nice studboss good people.

A KU friend told me tonight that this Mechum guy looks just like Matthew McConaughey, and I got super jelly. No one loves MM more than me. So I googled him, and this is the first pic that came up.

Holy crap.

This guy is going to kill at KU.

Tell us all the reasons you love MM, SJ.

Down to earth, Magic Mike, very talented, family man, Lincolns, smooth AF, small town kid, attractive, Wooderson, his style, stud, Dallas Buyers Club, wife 15 years younger than him, plays it so cool but gets excited at the perfect time, his flow, he's 47 and still got it, won sexiest man like a hundred times, we're the same height.. should I go on?

Tom Keegan said on KK yesterday that this guy going to KU is the best combination KU has had since Mangino and Reesing.

Well, TCU's offense was better than KU's. So there's that.

I've never really looked closely at these.  Why are the average starts swapped between offense and defense?  The average start of the offense is much more a factor of defensive performance isn't it?

That's a good point, probably something I should look at swapping next year.

My goal was to find an equivalent to my basketball charts, I think this is pretty close. Bill Connelly of footballstudyhall.com has put a lot into coming up with these factors being keys to winning and losing in football.

I didn't know it was Bill C inspired.  I don't read any of his stuff, but I've heard him on podcasts and heard a lot of people talk about how he talks about metrics as win predictors.  Makes sense of why they are where they are.

The crystal ball shows Kansas opening the season with a one-sided victory vs. Nicholls State and closer ones at Central Michigan and at home vs. Rutgers. Add home victories vs. Big 12 foes TCU, Iowa State and Baylor, stir, and presto, bowl game.

Looks like a one-win season to me.  :dunno:

Can Rutgers remain as bad as they were when they whooped ku with 45 scholarship players? I doubt it

I call FAKE NEWS! on this one.  No way a squawk football fan (oxymoron, I know) could actually believe this (or believe this and still have rights to use the Internets at the in-patient institution at which he resides).

They just need 6 schools to have 6 turnover games against them. 36 turnovers, that should be manageable imo

Did CMU lose the entirety of the roster that won on the road at Okie Lite last year?

CMU lost to Tulsa by 1000 to wrap up a 6-6 MAC season. That team is light years ahead of ku in talent and coaching.
