So with this most recent coaching search flair up once again Phogites are saying Harbs was a done deal and they are now saying he has confirmed as much, but what is the actual evidence?  Is this like an Illuminati signals of submission video where Jim blinked it in morse code?

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue

My friend told me someone ITK on the Phog texted Harbs a few weeks ago and told him to eat a booger the next time he's on TV if the rumors of him going to KU were true. Not sure if he did it or not, but that would confirm.

They were citing to some interview Harbaugh did on Soren Petro's radio show where he apparently claimed it was a done deal.

I keep trying to tell you, Lew would not even look at Harbaugh's resume, Lew wanted Turner Gill.  So KU went and threw money at Turner Gill.  Harbaugh was never even considered.   Source is A rated.

Ron is lightyears too good for that job.   Also, no way Bill would allow that level of competition into his coed and realtor pool.

Exactly, Lew thought Mangino was hard to deal with, no way he's hiring Jim Harbaugh.

Shouldn't Ron be all the proof they need that someone besides Bill can win (I'm using this word in the kufb sense, not as it is traditionally used sports pop culture) at KState, or at least that our rock bottom is something they can only dream of accomplishing at this juncture.

I honestly don't know if I've ever seen delusion on a grander scale. From Knute Rockne, Bob Devaney and John Cooper to the great Harbaugh bungling that is one of the most incredible reads ever.

Aside from the coaching search mis-fires, my favorite was the loss to Mizzou at Arrowhead in 08 was due to traffic. Has that been common knowledge for years and I just missed it?

What a freaking disaster. Wasn't our team late due to traffic and have to break pre-game routine as well?

We absolutely win that game and are the Big 12 title game away from playing for the National Championship. OU was load with Sam Bradford (17 point favorites vs MU) but you never know with Reesing.

I absolutely adore this take on KU's '08 loss to Moo at Arrowhead.....and how it speculates how the 4th best team in the Big 12 that year plays for the national title.  Completely awesome job of mental gymnastics.

These guys put the American Olympic gymnastics team to shame.

I have heard the KU interviewed Snyder after Mason but went with Allen. The next year KSU hires him. Has anyone else heard that story?

Someone ITK at KU told me, GOD himself was going to come coach the hawks, but then a few things came up with wars and satan that he had to tend to.

I'd bet my dominant hand that never happened,  but it would be so great if it actually did (if no bet was made) .

It's cute that they think the problem is just their coach.

I heard that Snyder was going to take the KU job but he thought the people in Lawrence were just absolute pieces of garbage.  He chose K-State because of the people.

We had a lot of problems pre-Snyder.  Hiring the right coach is the first step to solving a lot of KU's problems.  They ought to hire Sean.

Just read that an SEC coach said it will now be open season on recruiting LSU commits goven the Miles firing. Can Coach Hull get in on some of these guys? They had quite the class it sounds.

Unrelated note but, Javaris Russell 3 star OLB decommitted from Mississippi State and took a visit to KU week 2. He loved our weight room and the brand new business school since that will be his major.
No reason we shouldn't be able to begin poaching LSU recruits.

Hopefully a new staff doesn't try to poach our current Louisiana commits. Scout and TOS don't show them with LSU offers as of yet. That could make them easy picking for a new staff to pick up late.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

the move to lawrence makes sense when you consider that the LSU recruits know that it's not even about football

People say that, but it's still only 4 plays to get 10 yards.

Probably the biggest impact was reduction of scholarships to 85 from 95 in 1992.
