The delusion in Larryville has gone from hilarious to sad to concerning and is now fast approaching dangerous. They are just a charismatic leader away form Jonestown.
Now they think they should be going after Mike McCarthy. Quote from: Delusional PhoggiesIf you are gonna have a wish list I'd put Mike McCarthy on the top of the list. He may be interested in KU. He knows the area and coached at two Kansas schools. He would be my first choiceQuoteHe had more connections to the KU area than Harbaugh ever had. I wouldn't rule it out. His contract expires in 2018 .And his daughter I think went to KU. He may become Beaty's replacement by then. If he doesn't get Green Bay back to the Super Bowl by then his seat will be getting hot. He coached for the Chiefs, at Baker , and Fort Hays.McCarthy is a QB coaching genius. KU would become QB university with him at the helm. IMHO.Quote2018 is the perfect time to make this move. The KU AD should at least approach McCarthy about his interest or recommendations of who could take over. The KU roster will be in much better shape by then.

No way KU holds any Big 12 team under 40.
well history is on my side. they had 3 under 40 last year and like 6 each of the two years before. as bad as they are this year, there are still plenty of teams that have regressed as well that they'll likely catch 1 or 2 on a bad day or sleepwalking
Tech will score 60+ on them. However (I know it's not Friday) Tech will give up 28 points.
if hawk football is not about football when they're in lawrence (because of the hill and atmosphere, obviously), what is it about when the hawks are on the road? you are NOT going to sell me on texas tech's lousy atmosphere
So long as Ohio State and Michigan are elite, and teams like Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Iowa and Wisconsin keep things interesting, the last thing the big 10 wants is another football power. If anything, KU's football program is attractive because it offers easy wins for the football schools but historically also shows the capacity to be successful with proper coaching. And as I stated above, they are weak on the basketball front and could use another elite program. Aside from Michigan State, and Indiana's past, you have 12 college hoops nobodies in that conference.
