The Moo announcers are the absolute best.  When you enjoy factual commentary on the game, and are annoyed by constant whining, they are a true treasure to listen to.  Bob Davis is on the opposite end of that spectrum, and difficult to enjoy.

I just find it funny how much their fanbase hates Stan Weber when Davis and him are similar in many ways. I mean, I love dork store broadcasters. I was a dork store broadcaster. If you can't be over the top, then go home! I just think some of his teachings were comical, because he totally goes against what he says on his calls.

It's like watching those movies that are so bad, they're entertaining.

Sometimes, I'm in the mood for a good laugh, sometimes, I'm just not.

There are sometimes that I love listening to Bob.  Other times, it's insufferable.  I guess it's more dependent on my mood than anything he does.

From a Royals standpoint, he was god awful, though.

KU has lost five in a row to K-State, and the Wildcats lead the all-time series 65-41-5. The series has been streaky at times as KU was victorious in 2006-08, while the Wildcats won 11 in a row 1993-2003 under LHC Bill Snyder.
