They played us tough the last 2 years for a half because they spent 2 weeks preparing for us.  It will be the same this year.

Every college broadcasting crew as become a shrill for their respective university.  They are virtually (sometimes literally) employees of the school.  Ever listened to a K-State game on the radio?  Wow.

I actually listened to most of the game on the radio and thought they were relatively matter-of-fact.  It's hard to have to sit through every single minute of KU Football and not become pretty jaded.

i mean i am pretty biased(as i should be) about ksu broadcasts, but the ku ones are just on a completely different level.  if i am ever driving and i switch to 105.9 or whatever and i hear bob davis voice i will not change the station, for a couple of reasons, the highs and lows they construe are absolutely amazing.  its like what is happening on the field/court is the equivalent of one of their family members being cold clocked for no reason.  the tone in their voice is BITB

Bob Davis is absolutely the worst. Davis is not Max Falkenstein, an accomplished announcer who was an admitted homer, but not rabid. Davis is an embarrassment to an already embarrassed university.

I think one of the saddest things I've ever experienced was watching Bob Davis critique college kids pbp at an event one time. He would be telling them what they were doing wrong, etc. It was glorious!
