I think that pic says more about Americans vs. Europeans than it does Football vs. Futbol.

Heaps' departure confirmed. The "U". Someone is desperate.

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/15/jake-heaps-transfers-to-the-u/

I guess we'll finally get a chance to find out if this Heaps kid is any good.  Pure comedy will ensue on the outside chance that he has a reasonable amount of success at Miami.

I just hope a good season with the Hurricanes doesn't cost Coach Weis his job.

Heaps won't have success anywhere. He was garbage at BYU. He was garbage at KU. He will still be garbage at Miami. The kid sucks, plain and simple.

Time will tell... I'm not saying he'll be a heisman contender at "Da U", however he was pretty solid as a freshman at BYU before having a horrible sophomore slump.  Weis turns almost everybody into hot garbage at ku, so I'm going to wait to pass judgement on where the kid is now.

Obviously, Golden sees some talent in the kid if he's giving him a shot there.  Maybe with a decent coach and OL in front of him he can put up some serviceable numbers.

Discussion about substantial renovation to ku's stadium will be at or near drinking age by the time this gets started.

Kids, they're going to start a fairly substantial renovation of the baseball stadium 1 year prior per the guidance they are giving the Regents.

It takes a lot of time to break down the renovations that KSU has done so you can make something much better.

They are the uberconfident competitor leaning up against the wall, watching and yawning: "Are you done yet?"

Just wait...  :ohno:

I bet they are building a new stadium in a secret moon base that they will fly back to Lawrence and drop on the old stadium's spot in 2020.

Possibility exists that entire BSFS Master Plan will be completed by the time the first $10M is spent at KU.

That makes TOTAL sense, though.  How else would they be able to wait and see what we did in order to then simply out-do us?  That's been the plan all along if the phogtards are to be believed.

They're just waiting to see what we do.

From my observation, large projects like this typically don't move on the timeline, if they do, they get pushed back.   The dollars and cents get amended quite often, but the timelines are relatively accurate.

Is there some point at which we take our foot off the gas in the name of cruelty?
