There were two explosions on consecutive days.

On January 17, 2001, natural gas stored underground in Hutchinson, Kansas leaked into empty brine caverns. Two explosions resulted from the leak. One destroyed two businesses and damaged 26 others. Another destroyed a trailer park killing two people. Sinkholes and gas leaks formed all around the city and the gas had to be slowly burned off.

You could see the flames for miles.  We danced around them like wild engines.

We prefer to be called Internal Combustion Americans.

While tragic, the city was quick to cap every leak and burn off all the gas in the old brine caverns.  The two unfortunate souls were grandparents of a teammate of mine.  We all supported him through it because Hutch people ARE AWESOME LIKE THAT. *cough* sorry, I'm having yelling fits today.

I don't get the comparison? Sioux City is twice the size of Hutchinson and after browsing their Wiki page they have nothing in common and it is quite obvious that Hutchinson is cooler.

Almost doesn't count.. except very odd school districting.  I grew up in the Buhler District

For those unaware of the layout of Hutchinson, the Buhler District contains the vast majority of the "rich" population. Hence why it was so important for me to appear like a Baller although I am on a budget.
