Put a run down, outdated, sewage filled german pillbox, that has a football field inside with a track around it, on it.

I remember the first time I qualified to compete at Kansas relays. It was the big time, and the setting was awesome, really sad it's gone.
I thought it was pretty clear we were being sarcastic about the track. I can't believe they killed such an important part of state history over what was clearly a joke.
So do we add a track to our extensive list of improvements?
Another fairly simple, temporary way to spruce up the stadium would be to repaint all of the blue trim around the walls and entry tunnels to a brighter more true KU blue. I don't think they've touched that paint in years, and it looks drab and faded. Wonder what that would cost. The AD should allow donors to buy buckets of paint

As far as I can tell that trim is all that's even been painted. Then, lower the field and install a better and more efficient septic system (the bathroom drain isn't cutting it), then raise the field back up. Construction question, is potter pond maxed out as the leach field?
If ku only wins 1 or 2 games this season, which I expect to be the case, does Chaz survive another year ?Or to ask the question differently, does ku have the bucks to buy-out Charlie's last 2 years.Assuming Charlie is fired, the next head coach will walk into a horrible situation.According to ku's current depth chart (updated on 8/7), 6 starters on defense are seniors and 7 starters on offense. But look closer:Charlie does not have 1 starter on defense that he & his staff recruited out of high school... not one.8 of the 11 starters on defense were recruited by Gill... the other 3 are juco players.Greg Allen is listed as a sophomore, but he was part of the 2012 recruit class. The only notable player that Charlie has added on defense, is Sendish (juco recruit).KU's best defensive player, Heeney, was recruited by Gill.Probably their second best defensive player, Stowers, was recruited by Gill.Offensively, ku's best player, Pierson was recruited by Gill.Their starting running back, Bourbon, recruited by Gill.2 of their starting o-lineman, recruited by Gill.ku might have 1 or 2 starters on offense that were recruited by Chaz & Staff out of high school. Mozart thier QB (he will likely be a train wreck) and a redshirt freshmen, Joe Gibson "might" earn a starting spot on the o-line.2 juco starters on offense and 2 transfers ( + 5 Gill recruits). From what I've seen so far, Turner Gill was a much better "head" coach than Charlie... now that's bad.By the way, a juco player or two could still step up for the CATS, but as of right now, 9 of K-State's 11 starters on defense were recruited out of high school by Snyder & Staff ... and 9 of 11 starters on offense were recruited out of high school by Snyder & Staff. It's called, developing players, something Chaz knows nothing about.GO STATE !
I actually don't mind the different colored turfs as it gives the actual field more definition but isn't overdone like BSU's field.
