I actually don't mind the different colored turfs as it gives the actual field more definition but isn't overdone like BSU's field.

Shocking that squawks are still using the term "colored" in today's day and age.

I was on campus a few days ago, and it appeared that they were putting the barcaloungers back in as well. If not, they're putting together some portable structure there.

Is the Harley Track/Technicolor Dream Turf completely done yet?  Really wish Memorial had the wiring capabilities for a web cam...

KU's toilets are abominable. Rock Chalkk AbominableHawk.
I don't know how this isn't a priority.  On what planet is standing water in a men's restroom not a reason to burn a place to a ground?

Admittedly, I've not been to many college towns. But among those I've seen, Boulder is the only one that compares to Lawrence.

Guesses on how many? I'm thinking 3, Lawrence, Boulder, and Hays.

I'm thinking 3 as well (Topeka, Emporia, Pittsburg). Hasn't actually been to Boulder or Lawrence.

The masses would bring their virgins to be sacrificed at the altar, then someone had to ruin it all by putting in a damn jimbotron.

Did Jimbo Fisher invent the jimbotron?   :dunno:

I honestly can't help but laugh a little when I see that picture when I think about all the hand wringing that was done over the placement of Clipart Football Complex.

We're really worried about blocking the view.   Okay, lets stick the pre-cast concrete building that doesn't match anything at all on the stadium itself over here to the side . . . and then lets stick this giant videoboard right there in the middle to block the view it and doesn't even have a big ol' Jayhawk or the Kutztown knock off logo on the back.

Fascinating.

Ask him how much he dislikes human sacrifice and you might have your answer.  ;)

Yep.  Could just sit on the hill with your family and relax while cheering on your fav track team.  Probably the absolute best family atmosphere in all of college sports(outside of Boulder) for the kids.

between this and the drunk driving, it's really sad how selfish people in lawrence can be when it comes to children and family.
