The new $50 million football stadium upgrade will only increase that number.  Kudos to K-State for getting it done, though.

The new Vanier will be paid for entirely in private funding.

One of the reasons Glen Mason tried to leave after the 1995 season was because he wasn't going to a Vanier anytime soon.

Imagine finally catching up to everyone else after the fluke season of the Century, and then only winning 5 or 6 conference games in the next 5 seasons combined.    Then see every other school in the Big 12 invest hundreds of millions into football facilities over that same time, while you might get something going in the 50 million range in 2015.
