Just have to hope that Self doesn't bounce anytime soon.  Although, I do think Bill is strangling every dollar from every donor possible, I can't imagine the amount of $ focus all KU donors will have to buy and appease whoever the next basketball coach is.  Lance better get a little success and consistency going before Bill quits.  Bill's vacancy will probably take 2 yrs to get everyone to settle down and refocus on football a bit. 

Maybe this is a lose/lose for LL.

I think Leipold is done having success there.  KU needs money for the stadium and basketball now has an endless appetite for funds through NIL.  I don't see enough left for the FB program to be competitive.

The Dax plan for KUMS would have dramatically minimized the current frustrations and kept our Rock Chawkers playing in the friendly confines of KUMS for the duration of the renovation.

Unfortunately the ego driven desire to MLS'ify KUMS has only served to ratchet up frustrations, and that frustration gets amplified further in the form of 60,000 empty seats in Raytown MO . . . an hour away from the view and the pageantry of Rock Chawk Nation football in Lawrence KANSAS.

Now for the entire organization, every game is an away game. Every week the trucks have to be packed up, every week the team has to pile on the bus and travel someplace that's not home. 

No fun and frivolity of Mass Street in that 22,000 space Arrowhead parking lot

I wish I could find it, but I saw a video on twitter doing a pan of the parking lot and the rayhawker saying how awesome the environment was. Watch the video and it's basically silent. There's more excitement in the best buy parking lot.
