I cannot even begin to fathom the cost/footprint of a football players rape dorm. The hoops one set them back enough, I just not sure where or how they would squeeze that in on campus.

My guess is that would be a minimum condition for Art Briles to even sniff that job.

I think they keep Emmet Jones as a 1 year trial run and somehow win 4 games or something next year with some crazy luck on their side...

That will force them to sign Emmet as their coach for a couple of years then BOOM, their luck turns and they go back to winning 1-2 games until Emmet is fired in 3 years and they can go hire Rich Rod/Sumlin/Barnett/Briles.

I feel bad for the new AD is also an alumnus. He has almost zero chance of avoiding their entire fanbase calling for the termination of his football hire, before the football hire's first contract is up. Meanwhile, they think they have Bill Self locked up, but he could easily just decide that losing is not fun and bolt for the NBA.
