If this kid is Serbian or Bosnian, then this is a normal spelling. I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher at one point in my life and had a Bosnian girl whose name was Anika (it might have had a c in it though)

My youngest daughter has a very close variation of one of these names, she's Norwegian.

I know a braxtyn. He was on my kids soccer team. During practice, he would always go grab as many cones as he could, put them on his head, and run around in circles for like 30min. Completely oblivious to coaches. Pretty boss.
