I looked at this the same way when Obama won his first election in that he got votes just because he would be the first Black president; Manziel would be the first freshman.

I do/did enjoy watching Manziel a lot last year.  He's a fun player to watch.  He's like a better Todd Reesing. It sucks that ESPN and the collective media have ruined that enjoyment for me.  The blame lies on the media and, more specifically, our terrible media habits.

Except Todd Reesing was slow and never even rushed the ball.
