So let me get this straight. Squawks openly got Butthurt when Mizzou left for the SEC, but now support A&M who did the same? :weird:

how am I supporting a&m? I don't even like manziel, actually think he's a rich spoiled brat...but the ball don't lie and he's the 1st freshman to win the Heisman.

I looked at this the same way when Obama won his first election in that he got votes just because he would be the first Black president; Manziel would be the first freshman.

I hope both his personal life and football career are complete downward spirals.  That would be very fun to watch.

(Substitute "goEMAW" for "our Earth," "OK Cat" for "Stan," "pedestrian posters" for "adults" and "everyone" for "you children")

I do/did enjoy watching Manziel a lot last year.  He's a fun player to watch.  He's like a better Todd Reesing. It sucks that ESPN and the collective media have ruined that enjoyment for me.  The blame lies on the media and, more specifically, our terrible media habits.

Except Todd Reesing was slow and never even rushed the ball.

Not as far off as timhawk thinks, as stats don't show the whole story really, but yeah Manziel definitely deserved it as a player over Klein.  As a person and all the "values" that the Heisman is supposed to stand for, lol, no.

I agree, as a person he's crap, but he's a better player than Klein. Hiesman is all about on the field performance.

The Heisman is NEVER about on the field performance, including last season. The only Heisman winner that I can think of in recent memory with the undisputed best numbers is Cam.
