yeah when i first saw a mention of a new "KC logo" on twitter i thought it was for the Royals and i was furious. after about 3 seconds of critical thinking however i realized that was most likely not what was going on.

Meh...

If it's like Goose Island, many stipulations were set.  Whats nice is the company that bought them aren't ginormous, but big enough to financially help.  Looks like sponsorships, management, brewing location, etc. are staying around and it's more of a revenue stream.

not sure i see the goose island comparo   duvel is serious about beer.  there is no comparision b/w this and the goose island sale to AB Inbev imo.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

The comparo being Goose Island made a lot of stipulations on their beer before selling in order for it to continue to feel like a craft brewery and not a mass-production brewery like Anheuser Busch.  Some of Goose Island's beers are not allowed to be distributed outside of Chicago city limits due to the stipulations listed in the contract.

And yes, Duvel is serious about beer.
