Wut?
Mainly just kidding, but what a weird account. I think everything is staged on social media these days. Conspiracy theory thread?

A lot of stuff I'm sure is, but that would be a really wild move for that lady to do such reputational damage to herself voluntarily.
:adios:

Is this a safe space for apartment (crossroads/downtown/rivermarket/plaza/old_plaza(get shot walking down the street but near mocat)) talk?

Specific building feedback might be more helpful to you. Overall living in any of these neighborhoods is a great idea. Depends on what your priorities are (short commute, entertainment, etc)

I wonder how the new units at 27th & gillham will be (already are?) priced. Good spot imo

I struggle with that whole area. To the north is a bunch of nothingness until you get to Pershing. Martini corner stuff is kind of close I guess. Just seems like you'd have to drive (or maybe bike) to about anything at least until the streetcar expansion. Can't believe there isn't more retail there given all the units already there.

I've entertained the townhouses right there that are for sale but above is why I haven't made the jump.

what makes it a good spot?  i can't think of anything when considering other options which are good spots.  like slyin' titola said, there's nothing there.  i guess you could hang at the mid-27 food mart on weekends?

yeah you guys are probably right, it is a bit isolated. i am biased from getting around on a bike; it's very close to xroads and martini on a bike.
btw that little road through there (mcgee trafficway) is an enormous pro-tip for biking up the hill from xroads to midtown. there is no easier route.

If you are a biker it would be much better neighborhood I'd think. McGee trafficway will be getting a bike lane when all done too. With all the new units some more retail is bound to pop in.

So what if I said I LOVED Up-Down and wanted something within Bird or walking distance, what are my options?

I've been there twice this summer both on Sunday. Lot of industry types. I still enjoy sol. Ollie's served me a gross out brunch meal.

Is waiting for city club being built now an option? Their site says summer 2019 but no way that's happening. Maybe end of year but seems unlikely.  Bunch of buildings around crossroads hotel have different pricing options.
