I still haven’t ridden the damn thing and I’m paying taxes(I think) on it :curse:
Brace yourself. It goes 1.2 miles and stops like 8 times, I believe. I wouldn't know, pretty sure you can get somewhere faster by walking vs riding that thing.

this is my favorite thing OAT. people that didn't want a streetcar all the way to UMKC now complain that it's only 1 mile long
you’re obviously missing the joke then. They should have never went through with it if it wasn’t going to do what it was supposed to do, chode.

lmao

Do you guys think those bird scooters(which are literally deposited everywhere) are hurting Street Car traffic?
Like riders? Hopefully. Streetcar ridership just experienced it's biggest month of riders ever in the 4th year of operation.

I've used them quite a few times especially if going considerable distances east or west that I may have jumped on the choo choo otherwise or walked

Cool. I’ve hinted at it but....I do work downtown, this watching from the sidelines the past few years has been interesting. I’m directly involved now, so I feel involved! I personally like the Street Car, even tho I’ve never ridden it.

Also would gladly invite a downtown #lunchpak happening soon since the KC Pak scene has changed since I’ve moved to town

Phil saw me many times without saying hi and then berated pissclams for a meet up (which never happened), so, I wouldn’t expect anything.

Well I believe in new beginnings. We had ours, I’ve never tried to meet Phil, I have met ‘clams, several times, and also have a meeting planned soon. So, maybe, Phil will want to meet, this is a first time. So, anything is possible. What I do know is that I think everyone deserves a second chance, and this is a first chance.

Will report either way.

I wonder when the novelty will wear off. Year 5 probably?

One time and you were jumping in an uber. Maybe a blessing now given your attempts to dox me lately.

I never berated clams ?

if you don't think that a big chunk of the people who ride that thing are olatheans who drive in to the big city to "ride the streetcar", i don't know what to tell you other than you're wrong

Weekend traffic is very much this and they are using it to park once and explore downtown and not clog up city market parking.

Weekday ridership is also on the rise which is very much not Olathe.

oh man link me to where i said that so we can lol at it together.

i love taking olatheans' money and pouring it into downtown businesses more than donald duck loves diving into his golden swimming pool.

It is so great how it has connected downtown and will do connect us to our midtown friends...and riverfront friends!

i wouldn't know what any of you look like, so i've probably been snubbed by everyone in KC at one point.  Sad.

Phil made a point to say he saw me once and didn't say hi. I was just referencing it, because he's been begging 'clams to meet up for years since they have different opinions on how the city is run. I was finding it ironic, but carry on by beating this dead horse.

I've met DBT at a couple of Cats fb games. SD and I are IG buds. One day we'll high five at Disney. Can't forget about XT and Gooch as well on the IG.
