It's kind of funky looking and seems like the parking garage is gonna be on top of the existing building BUT I also think we should do it.  Wow, this is the first time I feel a part of these things now that I live in the KC metro('burbs)!

i should also add that there's no way they're going to pull those expected rents to break even but whatever, we need to keep growing the class a space downtown.

Last year, Starbucks decided not to locate a large employee operation in downtown partly because of the lack of readily available high quality office space.

The downtown office vacancy rate is currently 7.7 percent, its lowest in 20 years, according to the Downtown Council, and it’s been almost 30 years since the last multi-tenant tower was built there.

It seems pretty clear to me that someone posted a story about a potential new office building & Phil brought up that Starbucks looked to move some positions to KC but KC's office occupancy is too high & Starbucks was worried about finding office space.
