The original BRGR off 83rd is the tits. The downtown one is not as good. So that would make sense with your take.
Weird they wouldn't source their meat the same....being a chain and all.

I'm just saying i've always enjoyed my experience more at 83rd st. I thought they were awesome before they expanded downtown and I was never impressed with that lcoation.

i'm not a meat purist.  they had good toppings on it.

the burger part is pretty much just a texture thing for me.

Burgers only for the toppings, booze only for the inebriation, it's no wonder you prefer Jose Pepper's to Jalepenos

I think toppings are a pretty big part of the game as well, dlew. Farmhouse puts a bacon cream cheese aoli on their breakfast burger and it's freaking amazing!

i'm just saying that unless you're getting a burger with no toppings, it's hard to appreciate the subtle flavor nuances of ground beef.

That probably adds up to about 15 crab rangoons, calorie-wise.

This why I don't understand the Max's or town topic hype. I might as well go to Sonic.

It's not that toppings can't add or accentuate, but when they are the main attraction, it's a bad burger, IMO

Toppings, especially fancy ones, are just an attempt to pass off subpar beef

If you want toppings go have a salad and leave the burger game to the professionals

My dad was a cattle buyer when I was growing up, so I know and understand what good beef is, but some of you are overthinking this. Toppings can add so much to the burger experience.

I'm not really a beef flavor snob...brgr is the only place I've really noted that a didn't like the meat ...dunno.

Their truffle tots though are the bomb.

This steak is good, but it really needs cucumber-jalapeño aloli, onion straws, kelp, and (2) locally sourced hard boiled pigeon eggs

The best brgr is at jazzoo....they make one of their regular burgs smaller and thinner and its way better....

I'm personally more a thin party guy...and make it a double...more crispy burg parts. Thick burgs are MF meatloaf
