Beer Kitchen was a crap show today. We had to settle for Mccoys. :fartnoise: :frown:

Majestic Brunch was on point today.....their B&G is the best!
Love it!

Mccoys is the Applebee's of Westport.
I think you mean hopcat

Do you love their shitty homemade beer, bud? Do you like their average menu and open spacing seats for being average? Or their porch where dogs come in and crap while ppl eat. Not a Kansas Citian here, looking for in depth thought from a pro life Kansas Citian like yourself.

I have never had a good experience at anton’s.  so, I buy my steak (grain fed bone in ribeye) from their meat counter and cook it myself.  best in town.

mccoys reminds me of o’douds.  smelly/dirty gross bar for grosses/poors

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I've always been impressed.  But maybe it's just because the meat is so king

Mccoys beer is just so mediocre.

Q39 was pretty good. I liked how they toasted the bun.

Also the Arabia is really cool even if it's weird! A uniquely KC thing. Was surprised at how many people were at City Market and enjoyed the smells and wished I knew where there was something similar in the Bay. I really just thought q39 was ok but my kids loved it so we might go later in the week. Then met a friend in Lenexa and marveled at the shades of beige and then went to Tanner's on 119th street. They served me a KC Pils in a plastic cup. Then I left town.

I've never went to McCoy's as a destination but ended up there a few times to eat....their food and beer is all pretty meh but that Mac and cheese is pretty good.  Their patio is awesome.

But it's not a chain.

Yeah, we've established that. It just has such a chainy vibe. It's always a second resort restaurant when beer kitchen has a 45 minute wait. They really need to expand that place.

It's all good tho peeps. We all have our own tastes. People talk up Westport Local but I've never had a good experience there. Beer Kitchen is consistent and I dig their beer menu.
