Is that a Populous design?

KSUW has been quiet, so maybe.

I like the overall concept but I'm more excited to see SOM refine the design concepts. Can tell this is pretty early on.  If HNTB did this design this would be final product.

Think they need to mix in a few art deco elements and do something sexy on the connector part in the middle.

That water feature is v awesome.

Parking is already a nightmare downtown. I can't imagine how much worse it would get with a stadium.

if i were this company i would make the renderings be the coolest airport ever conceived to help get the vote passed because as the new hyatt showed us, the renderings don't mean a thing

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

SOM prob doesn't want to put their good name on something that they can't deliver.

is it? is parking a nightmare downtown? or is there free night and weekend parking literally everywhere?

When I lived by the quaff and there was an invent going on at the Sprint Center, I could never find a place to park on Washington street or anywhere around there. I have a crap ton of parking tickets as well that I had to pay for because it's only "2 hour parking" during the day and they come around and mark your tires to see how long you've been there. If I took a sick day or just a day off period and forgot my car was parked on a side street, I was mumped. Add 30K to what's already a crap show.

It's just already a crap show down there when there's an event and so many people think Broadway is the only exit into downtown off I-35. It log jams everything. I'm just saying, plan to be even more agitated trying to get downtown for a game.

Street parking isn't for long term car storage. There was a garage you could buy a spot for in the alley.

Every time I’ve have to park in downtown KC it hasn’t been hard at all.  I think if I lived there I would buy a spot and it would be even less hard(which it wasn’t much to begin with).

i've lived in spitting distance for over 13 years.  I've never not found parking for my guests outside of 2 blocks.

What about during events? Now add a stadium and it will be chaotic. especially when there's more than one thing going on downtown. Convention center, big 12 tournament, etc.
