it was an interesting article, but it mostly seemed like whining that there wasn't enough demand for their specific interest and comparing the black nightlife scene in KC to atlanta and DC (and i guess dallas), cities much larger than KC with a very vibrant white collar black culture (for lack of a better term). The history of KC of course has ramifications on that, but KC having a low amount of young black professionals and blaming that on westport not playing "hood" music is a bit ridiculous.
