I've never had a pizza in this city that's been like: "Whoa, game changer!" Have you? If so, please direct me accordingly.

Agree, pizza in kc is like a 3/7

generous.  Intro of Pizza 51 and Il Lazz may be the only justification

No, but I was in Parkville last weekend for a nice round of mini golf with Mrs Wacky. Neat little area.

surprisingly enough, i've been to the parkville beer thing.  like most beer "fests", you stand in endless lines in an effort to be graced with a 2 ounce shot of beer that you can get at most any decent bar in town.  some people like this sort of thing.  personally, i think it's stupid as crap.

They had their place when bars didn't have 100 taps. Now you can find those everywhere ....And you get to skip out on the bad food and horrible entertainment.

Beerfests were great in the mid 00s when a crap ton of breweries were just starting to distribute in KC. Nowadays it's like "Come drink Boulevard/Stone/Odell/Great Divide for the billionth time!"

@clams - I don't see the papa on your downtown pizza list.  this begs the question:  is that just a silly omission on your part, or is downtown lacking a papa?  If the latter, I think I finally have an idea for a business venture you and I could go in on together.

Agreed. Beer fests 100% suck and I hate going. The last hour is just drunk assholes treating the vendors like crap.
