sad to see the city's manager be bullied by the tsa and the airlines responsible for providing security screening, not surprised though

So renovate, make A the pre security and security checkpoint area, rail to the boarding gates in B & C?   That was studied...costed more and gets rid of the only perceived convenience of KCI.

Every part of C is used currently FYI.  KC's second busiest airline is in there.

yup.  the "cost estimates" that you're referring to were generated by sly's people to fit sly's single terminal agenda.
no serious cost studies can be done without a more formal construction plan, which in the case of mci, does not exist

I mean the airport committee below went through 27 concepts (9 of those renovation concepts) and is on year 3 of this....but yes, let's spend more time and money to find a solution that makes renovating 40+ year old buildings that were designed at a time before security even existed to get on an airport that works "meh, okay"

Airport Committee members:
Bob Berkebile (co-chair), David Fowler (co-chair), Jesse Barnes, Zulema Bassham, Forrestine Beasley, David Byers, Chuck Caisley, Dan Cranshaw, Prentiss Earl, III, John Fierro, Kevin Koster, John McDonald, Mike McKeen, Paula Meidel, Nikki Newton, Mark Pederson, Joe Reardon, Nia Richardson, Bill Skaggs, Alicia Stephens, Reggie Thomas, Qiana Thomason, Sheila Tracy and Donna Wilson Peters

Not only Sly yes men.

Sly...and he put some of the biggest critics of the "new terminal movement" (NTM) on that committee.  You must have not answered his call

I just want to continue to be able to easily park in the garage, and quickly walk to/from the gate for about the same cost as today.
