Took Nicname Jr. to Schlitterbahn yesterday. Park is fun, but a far worse value (if you like waterslides) than OOF. It's great if you like lazy riverish stuff tho! Nicname Jr. was a huge fan of both parks.

Did the giant waterslide (Nicname Jr. was too short). It was fun, but a very short ride.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I haven't' been to the 'bahn in a couple years but my trip to OOF a few weeks back was pretty disappointing.  They have added a "fast pass" option that is pretty much doubles the price of the ticket and results in 2 things
1. the lines are now all on the ground so there is less shade vs waiting on the stair case
2. you end up watching the same 5 people that have a fast pass go past you multiple times while you wait; not a fun convo to have with your 6 year old.

OOF did have a cool new slide where the floor drops out from under you but only 1 person operating the 3 different "launch coffins" :bang:

Cramped? Maybe. Slower? No.

A320: 470knots

Beechjet: 441knots

A320: 6000feet per minute

Beechjet: 3000 feet per minute.

One is faster and it's not the beechjet.

The cruising speed of an A320 is 511mph, a Hawker 400 is 510mph.   A 737 is 583mph.    (source Wikipedia)

I assume he also means the faster loading and departure as well.  Depending on how the gate control is done, it could be slow or fast, but of course departing freom MCI will never be as fast as walking out of a charter terminal.

Aircraft speeds are not referenced in mph. TAS is always knots. The 737 is slower than an A320. A beechjet with JT-15's is a pig. the new FJ-44's are a huge improvement.

It's a terrible idea. Just like all the other Part 135 operators that tried and died doing this.

I got it in paper form via mail but said I could fill it out via that address...Seemed like a good way to keep it focused on KCMO residents....were you worried that your responses would take away your trash services?

As a condo owner, recycling/bulk pickup service was never available and trash service credits were taken away during Funkhouser, so it's a real fear.
