Its a great conspiracy theory but no way funding is secured by November. The original line funding didn't plan for any federal grants either, just a feather in the streetcar authority's hat when they came through.

Caught me!  Actually those federal grants will probably be there for another year even past that... Or whenever the next budget is passed.

This expansion plan was always in the works to be released soon after phase 1 started rolling and people saw it in action... It has little to do with grabbing TIGER grants which is not something a plan can count on given all the competition for them.

All charters use MKC, since it actually makes sense unlike MCI.

Streetcar down since around 320pm due to track issue at Union station. Must not be a quick fix as they have already deployed buses to fill in on the route.
