Guys it is weird that Dlew gets a high off of an uber driver getting screwed even if it was their own fault.  I would feel bad for the driver bc apparently I am a quality human being who thinks about others versus getting joy out of the misfortune of others.

Stadium talking points are absolutely fantastic, and it's absolutely so very WMW'ernee to enjoy large asphalt parking lots, and wonder if they'll be good parking.   Oh my

I don't feel bad about it at all.  In fact, it makes my day.

I feel bad because I'm assuming the driver is losing money on the trip. I'm not sure if that's true, but I know Uber is kind of shitty to its drivers.
They are voluntarily working for Uber. If they don't like it, they can quit, but I won't feel bad for using the service.

was this a serious response or a parody of some argument in the pit?

Probably somewhere in between.  It's a statement that pretty accurately describes my views though.

if you're sitting in an uber pool hoping the driver gets another call/pickup, you're a freak

It's uber but you share with other riders and have to go along alternate routes to drop other people off.  Like a car pool.

if you're sitting in an uber pool hoping the driver gets another call/pickup, you're a freak

It isn't freakish to feel some degree of empathy for someone being paid less than $5 for a 5+mile ride that took over 20 minutes, even if it's something they signed up for.

I suppose as a passenger calling for an UberPool you are signing up for the possibility that no one else gets picked up, but I didn't realize you could take an UberPool and not have any other pickups until it happened. I'll probably just do UberX or Lyft from now on just to be safe. (At least w/ Lyft you can tip in the app)

Also, name a restaurant downtown that you rough ridin' crave. Answer: you can't It's filled with garbage chain restaurants. The closest thing that I crave from my place is grinders and Margaritas. I have to get in my car for that.  :frown:

Guys... I rode the first 801 train containing normal people. Felt great. Took it one stop, got off and ate at extra virgin. Took bus back to condo.
