You guys UberPool or what?

No  :shakesfist: and Wacks is way off on the uber price.  I've never paid under $15 for the same trip.

It was actually ranked #1 best stadium in the MLB recently. By some site. Deal with it, Dax! :gocho:

The stadium, the area around it is possibly the worst situation in MLB, and possibly in professional sports.

Downtown stadiums are probably the most overrated thing in the history of overrated things

Location stadium debates are the funniest thing ever. Like, wtf else do you have to do before going to the game? Oh you wanna drink/tailgate?! Good rough ridin' news then, it's 2016 and a bunch of your friends in blue are doing the same thing out in the parking lot and have their TV's setup. eff tho, it's 8 minutes from downtown.  :curse:

you can't really argue that there is nothing around The K.  So if you like to tailgate it's great, if you'd rather eat/drink somewhere else before the game, it's not great.  WOW!

Why? Because you see skyscrapers in the background? Downtown KC was dead less than 15 years ago. I totally get why they didn't want to put the stadium there.

There's a subway and taco bell across the street!  :curse: Also, some good bbq down the road. We're rough ridin' white midwesterners, we love to tailgate.

the last 2 falls, having the parking lots full 3 hours before every playoff game, and people paking their faces off, was pretty damn fun, so I can see why dadjones is pissed about that.

Also, name a restaurant downtown that you rough ridin' crave. Answer: you can't It's filled with garbage chain restaurants. The closest thing that I crave from my place is grinders and Margaritas. I have to get in my car for that.  :frown:

It's a feel thing.  Like you know it in your balls that it is better.  I'm not denigrating Kauffman tho, I like Kauffman.  But most of what Kauffman has is pretty good fans to inject the energy.

 Plus, North Carolina doesn't have a MLB team, so that must infuriate him, when he lives in the best state ever built in America!

Trust me, I get it. Maybe i'm just a downtown grump. Like, PNL was the tits when I was 25 and single, but now I want nothing to do with it. The stadium downtown would obviously be better, but it doesn't take away from my experience. If anything, I save a few bucks by it being out there.

When the Royals sucked, it was bad.  That's the downside.

I've had that happen. I feel bad for the driver when it does.

It was her screwup so I didn't feel too bad. She was supposed to pick up the other person first, and started their trip without picking them up...

I don't feel bad about it at all.  In fact, it makes my day.

I feel bad because I'm assuming the driver is losing money on the trip. I'm not sure if that's true, but I know Uber is kind of shitty to its drivers.
