Where was the Stroud's in MHK?  Over by the old Holiday Inn?

Over by westloop, think there was a Valentino's that took over the space, not sure if that's still a thing or not.  Used to be a Mexican restaurant over there, El Cazadors I think was the name, Grizzlies, and Frank Martin's Cuban restaurant The Patio.

Put a leg of Col. Sanders original recipe on a plate and a leg from Strouds. Nobody could tell the difference.

cmon down to the downtown kc open where we use fake golf balls and have 16 holes and if youre not impressed by that go ahead and try to dodge the oncoming out of control street rams trying to plow innocent golfers into oblivion
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Strouds is good.

Manny's isn't even the best place on that street.  Taqueria Mexico is way better.

shocker!
a citizen's committee made up of people hand picked by sly james, and the aviation committee hand picked by sly james, and the airlines who have negotiated offline with sly james all agree with sly james.

anyway, i wonder if southwest plans to pull out of mci after the public vote fails this fall

shocker!  Airport experts Pissclams and Teresa Loar are against it.

Opponents also criticised the projected $1 billion cost and argued it would lead to big ticket price increases, although the airlines and finance experts say labor and fuel are the real drivers on ticket prices. They point to other cities that have done $1 billion upgrades without huge ticket price increases.

published by known kci single terminal cheerleader, the kc star
we'll see.  i'd be mildly surprised to see it passed but with the idiot voting base in jackson county, anything is possible.  the fact that a lot of these idiots are lapping up the idea that the airlines are now behind the concept says a lot.

Your concern again is....higher ticket prices?  See no need to do anything at KCI?  Fear of taxpayer funds at risk?  I can't keep track.

It's voted on by all of KCMO BTW, not Jackson County.

flew in and out of MCI last week without a billion dollar issue.  no security lines, no issues with seating inside security.  no issues with plane boarding.  circle parking was great.

why is this thing on an august ballot and not november?

That's great.  So your argument is KCI is fine and nothing needs done?

It's not on any ballot yet.

i don't have an argument.  my experience is that as a customer, MCI is fine.  my experience has been nothing but positive flying in and out of the airport.

i would accept the idea that more bathrooms could be built inside security.  beyond that, i think we're good.  i don't need a capital grille at the airport, nor an abercrombie and fitch.

and ya the airlines are demanding that this get voted on in august.  i wonder why?

So much bigger than a restaurant post security...but it's easier to boil it down to that argument I understand.

They did request August...I think it passes either way.  November will bring out the crazies given where Donald is in the polls...does that have an impact, I'd guess yes.
