Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I just want to call my shot, while I can. I was leaving the cosentinos/one life garage the other day and the street car zoomed by out of nowhere. Like, the gate opens, and you try to look both ways, but it's hard to do with ppl walking by on the sidewalk and then "zooooooom", a rough ridin' street car came out of nowhere at a high speed. Anyways, someone is going to get blasted leaving that garage when this thing opens up. It won't be pretty either. It will be on the drivers side.

I don't think you heard what's going on coming out of that garage. It's across the street from the midland. There's a crap tone of foot traffic on the sidewalk. You have to creep out of there. The gym is always packed as well. It scared the crap out of me and I was two cars back from leaving. No one will be expecting it at first. At the very least what the street car can do, is slow the eff down, like the rest of the traffic.

It's going to be a crap show in the beginning. I've seen a tone of ppl act super awkward around it, almost causing the same thing. Stupid white midwesterners.  :shakesfist:

You were two cars back in a garage and you couldn't see the street yet. I'm not sure that sounds like much of a problem when apparently the car at the front of the line was able to see the streetcar coming

That garage entry/exit was designed horribly in the first place... The pedestrian vs car experience is dangerous.... Now that they are limiting who can use that garage it backs up traffic as each car is waved in or not.... Then add in streetcar.... Horrible.

They need to close that entry and exit on main and just use walnut. There is plenty of capacity there to handle it and much better pedestrian interaction.

Bollards have been added where possible to stop this... 12th and main seems to be the nexus of this type of action.

I have to imagine the streetcar is speed-restricted and programmed not to exceed the speed limit.  I don't know this, tho.

You guys act like driving on Main St in the downtown loop was an easy task pre-streetcar. Between the foot traffic, buses, and un-synced street lights it was always a shitshow.

Why drive on Main when Wyandotte is available?
