I saw fun., guster and OAR at the Beaumont.  Each of the three were my favorite bands in the world at some point of my life.

Queens of the Stone Age in 2011 was my last time in there. Show wouldn't have been topped so I'm glad they shut it down

I might have seen good charlotte there. When we moved to Eudora, I was clueless on KC event spaces. I know I saw them somewhere.

Well what will they do when I chain myself to the mic stands?  You can turn this into a bbq joint over my dead body!

I think Dlew was kidding... maybe not.

Char Bar is legit and actually a fantastic day drinking spot... other than Harry's and AH rooftop there's not much else.

For some reason, McCoy's never really pops off (probably because it's sit-down centered). Harpo's in the back is too closed off.

All that aside, their Burnt Heaven tho.

If Cage the Elephant is going to be there, I highly recommend it.

of the bands noted that have been seen there, I think andrew WK would be the most fun.

I ate at a restaurant in Lyon, France that served a "steak from Kansas, USA"!

  I told my colleagues that I didn't come to France to eat KS beef, but they insisted. It was pretty average. I had been there for a couple of weeks on that trip, so experimenting by eating KS beef wasn't that disappointing.
