What happens when Indianapolis builds a 1000 room hotel and the FFA or whoever backs out?

Also, public funding of stadiums is pretty stupid.

it is stupid.  kroenke has proposed building the inglewood stadium (+$1.9B) entirely with private financing.
he must be a magician.  an egyptian magician.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I agree it's silly that City's have to offer incentives for pro franchises given their wealth.  But, for City's like KC (unlike LA or NY), this is just reality.  Ask STL.

http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/blog/2015/09/stadium-financing-report-rams-have-biggest-villain.html

Since 1995, 29 of the 31 National Football League stadiums have received public subsidies, with taxpayers spending nearly $7 billion on construction and renovation projects, according to a report from the Taxpayers Protection Alliance (TPA), a conservative Washington, D.C., nonprofit affiliated with the Koch brothers.

For the new stadium in St. Louis, taxpayers would pay just less than 40 percent of the roughly $1 billion total cost. Not included in that is private seat licenses, which are estimated to contribute $160 million to the project, but under the private sources portion of funding.

If you want to absolutely ensure that KCI is never a hub, keep the current configuration.   But in a post 9-11 world KCI is

When I pass through security and then sit there at KCI, I can go get a water or juice at that lame ass kiosk and share my time with the other prisoners . . .  dreaming about that BWW's I was just at right across from my gate in the ATL, watching the KSU cats, having a lovely drink and then popping right over to my gate 20 minutes before departure.

I flight from CLT from time to time, curb drop off, blam right through security . . . then on to a cornucopia of places to eat and drink, or hang out in on one of the rocking chairs in the main terminal listening to someone play the piano.

KCI . . . mass in a crowded area with little to no amenities sitting on black pleather chairs.   :Yuck:

I don't fly SW mo . . . haven't in years.

There's a lot of good about KCI, pre 9-11 it was awesome, but not so much anymore.

No there not, you're just a dumb sometimes.

CLT they have way more flights then MCI or Hey lets build Kansas City International as far away from Kansas City as we possibly can and still be able to call it Kansas City.
