I would like to report a fire.  It's at least a two (one of those big'ish bottles that you see at local establishments) container fire.

Also, fires are easier to extinguish with a fresh double expresso, with one raw sugar, from The Roasterie,  imo.

White ipa
(Back) double ipa
(Front) pale ale
Saison

they were out of the rye and saison, so the left and right were white IPA

and wouldn't you know it, CF3, j-dub, and _FAN showed up a little after I did before they went to the royals game

Very nice. I had the White (very good) and the Double (really hoppy, but expected that) and enjoyed it. I'm not big on the soccer that was on tv (sorry soccer guys), but I get it (it was SKC).

Flights are only $3?!?     :beersmiley:

flights are $5...still a deal.

It's $3 on the pic that roidhead posted so maybe that was a happy hour special or something? But yeah even $5 is a good price for a flight.

Possibly due to only having 2 beers left?  The $5 flights were 4 beers.

I had to google who this was....don't think the comparison works.  John hasn't done very much rehabbing of old buildings in KC compared to a lot of developers.

Not sure what is defensive about my comment but okay....maybe I didn't read the right story about Ward, what I found was he helped renovate like all of downtown Manhattan..not quite like squatting on old industrial district's buildings.....help a brother out.
