I like the idea of the Rye.  Is the comparo to bread accurate as far as flavor goes?  If so, I want to try it warm.  Warming rye bread changes everything, vs room temp or cold rye.

Pretty similar conversation to the one I had with the door guy the first time I went to station (back when it was good)

Fun but still "Hey human, are you KCFDCat?" is still a weird question...after that it's all good times.

Here we go, walking into the house that KCFDCat built.  Fun to see how great the neighborhood has built up and DoubleShift is now another establishment in the east X-Roads.  Props to Stretch for getting this area going.

The beers were pretty great.  Took a minute to warm up to the flavor profiles but once I got into them, good times.  White IPA was the fave (in the big glass)...next was probably the Rye, then Saison, then pale.  The flights are a super good deal, could definitely bump up that price.

OMG the man of the hour.  Next time when not so hectic we can

Ended up sending a small bachelor party there later that night...they came back with rave reviews as well.

So great to have a bunch of small breweries so close to each other...really helps feed off of each other.  Stopped at Border after DS and saw a lot of the same people hopping around.  Good times.  Best of luck KCFDcat...cat wait for a Cats watchparty.

Can't wait for the results of FF'16. Highest bidder gets a beer named after their gE handle. This will be so great. Probable winning bid of $1,000.

Thanks Phil!  Glad you were able to drop by, you should have said hey!

As with most new breweries we're still working out some kinks in our brewhouse, and the quality of beer will only go up from here. I think *most* people understand that.

Lol we have a/c but when it's 100 degrees outside, people are constantly opening the door,  and there's 65+ people inside it's hard to keep the temp down, plus the building is 100 years old and has zero energy efficiency.

Thanks for coming by man. Hope you'll come back.
