OMG KC is the test market for chorizo in Chipotle. Will test for lunch and report back. I'm so happy.

Thinking that there would be waaay too much chorizo and a mix with half chorizo and half chicken would be ideal and not require diarrhea meds later.

Had chorizo chipotle. Pretty good. More burnt n chunky than I expected. Like they purposely charred it so it didn't crumble like ground beef. Good spice. Great mixed with chicken.

unless they've changed, their last non-breakfast chorizo was a mix of chicken and pork

It's a kind of pork or beef sausage.  I think it was traditionally pork, but you can get beef in the common brands.

Chicken chorizo sounds pretty great, though.  Chorizo ' s one downside is how greasy it can be.  Chicken would help solve that.

agreed.  i usually am not a big fan of the usual chorizo burrito-type things you run across because it's just a super greasy product.  will give it a try

Chorizo is Mexican Italian sausage where 25% of the mass is made up of cooked chilis

It's chicken and pork at chipotle. I found it to be a good mix where the heat and spice was there but not the red grease running everywhere like some chorizo
