also have we talked about the westport parking lot development debacle?

Qdoba & Pickleman's :flush:

if you think about it, that might be some of the most valuable real estate in the entire city right now.

My sister texted me at 10:08 and said it was sold out.

What was the debacle last year?

Should be able to get a good deal on it when Qdoba inevitably closes down.

From what my friend told me: basically all of the same breweries at every beer fest in KC except this one was $75, the ones that weren't available in KC at the time started distributing within a couple months of Boulevardia (Oscar Blues, etc.), ran out of most beers within the first hour, terrible view of the local bands (WGAF?), long as eff lines, only 2 choices for non-sample beers (really sad considering the brewery is ~2 miles away).

Hopefully another brewery rises up and can compete with them so we don't have to be super small timey and lose our god damn minds over a chocolate beer and this crap.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Blvd could stand to roll back the amount of beers it produces.

because Cigar City doesn't distribute west of AL and they're one of the best breweries on the east coast.

Glad parking lots are going away.....not happy hearing about how poor the building design is....the tenants promised there don't mean much as they will probably shut down soon.  Westport needs to demand better design standards like we're fighting for downtown.  Developers will always take the path of least resistance.

It was really good.  despite the music hall balcony seating is pretty terrible, and their ushers stunk, they were letting large groups in ten minutes in to the show.  It would have been a lot better at Kauffman, but it was still awesome and would see it again.

Was talking with an architect about the parking stuff.  He said they got bored in office and took a map of westport first, then all of kc, and said there is more space for parking than retail/restaurant space.  It pretty much confirms what i thought, suburbs make people irrationally  scared of walking around in a semi urban setting.
