Why do ppl go to bars where they don't even know anybody? So weird! You go with a group dork! And drink all you can for $85 while jamming out to a DJamer.

well you can leave a bar whenever you want because you didn't give the bouncer $85

if they closed off westport and charged $85 to get in, and you could drink as much as you want at any bar, that would be awesome.

True, but some ppl like a change of pace. Sitting at the same bars every weekend can get old. :CoveryourearsClams:

I can already give you a play by play of what is going to happen. We pay the $75, cant get into a bar other than that main area, she's miserable because she's cold, I'm miserable because I can't rough ridin' move, and everyone loses.

Food too, but I pimp an event, so I get it. I've worked it the last two years and had a lot of fun doing it. Getting paid to party on New Years, what a trip!

yeah, im not saying $85 for all you can eat and drink at a bar is a bad idea for NYE, its just not really my scene. id rather spend that money on a nice dinner and a case of beer that i can smash with my friends at a house.

i also have a huge fear of being out on NYE. drunk drivers everywhere...

That's understandable. With age, I've really started to enjoy being home with friends and relaxing. If I wasn't helping the event, I'd be the same way.

Gf & her friends have us going to basically a Chicago version of a P&L bar. I agreed on the condition that I could get judgment free blacked out, but now we have a noon flight on new years day. :bang:

Where's that 'Via?  That's like 1000000x nicer than the 10 commandments one.
