Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

go to q39

Okay. What should I get?

Hey, 'meister!

I suggest you get "The Judges Plate" your first time going. It's a great way to sample what they're all about and is delicious.

Their take on the Z-man concept is the Pitmaster Brisket sandwich...also very good.

I haven't tried it yet, but the burnt-end burger is supposedly very tasty, too.

I had the burnt end burger. Can confirm it is good.

I'm going tonight and might have to try it out.

Maybe the recent problems in St. Louis has tricked the national media into loving KC. Good job whoever planned this.

The new Grinders at 103rd and Pflumm is pretty neat.

Didn't know it finally opened. Then again Grinders is WITB at social media. Looks like I know where I'm going for lunch today
I think they do that to stay edgy.

Nothing says edgy like Lenexa KS and desires to franchise Grinders regionally. Stretch is such a tool.

Other than goE products, I hadn't bought a t-shirt in probably 5 years. I've bought 3 over the past year; all KC-centric, all made by local folks (none of the shirts featured in the article). I usually dress up more, but it's nice to have a good-looking t to wear when it's super-cashz time. The Bunker and KC heart tees, like the Baldwin ballcaps, are definitely faddish and overdone (esp Baldwin), but at least they've spurred other local designers and companies to create different KC-centric designs. It's nice to be able to support local businesses and find some non-Royals KC apparel that's not garish red and yellow.

It's kind of like bandwagon fans when your team starts winning: annoying, but in the end I'm glad to have them, because it means something's going right for something I love.

Gotta try to get to q39 sometime in the next week. Hearing nothing but good things.
