Can I make a statement about KC BBQ in this thread? Honestly haven't been following it enough to know. Either way, Arthur Bryant's is the BBQ I've enjoyed most in the KC area. Sweet Heat is such a treat (boy is that fun to say!). And the portion size there, wow!

You know what?  A lot of people in this world live in towns or cities that they really don't like that much.  For me though, as someone who has a family, it doesn't get much better than this city.

The only places that I would prefer are either cost prohibitive or so far from family that it would cause other undesirable burdens (and there aren't too many cities that fit this category).

Kansas City is pretty rough ridin' good, guys.  Pretty rough ridin' good.

Maybe I'm easily amused but this seems wrong.  I don't have enough time to do all the crap I want to do.

I imagine you're going to defend this town no matter what argument someone would  make against it.

I'm just more interested in non-crap cities

Nah, I'm with you, our beach and mountain scene sucks and way too many people come here from small townie worlds in KS/MO/IA/NE/OK....but why would one live in a city they thought was crap?  Weird.
